I was part of a team of illustrators in Mexico hired for an “express” job for Dubai: a promotional video for an oil company in the United Arab Emirates.

It wasn’t a project that excited me because of the industry involved, but I ultimately decided to take it on. Sometimes it’s hard to know whether these decisions are good or bad; I simply chose to do it.

I was in charge of the color script, art direction, and final corrections.

Working for a culture, a continent, and a context so different from my own is a huge challenge, but thanks to very clear communication, we managed to deliver a solid project in less than 10 days, considering the tight deadline and the scale of the commission.
